Long sleepless nights lulling your baby to sleep and countless diaper changes are just one of the few things amongst many, that makes one realise that the journey to motherhood is not an easy one and, it’s a journey that never stops!
We’ve seen many ladies, especially new-mothers, try to keep a level-head while figuring out their new roles and sometimes being a new mom can be extremely overwhelming.
Media personality, Lootlove, kept it 100 with her social media followers when she shared a video of how she’s been doing since she gave birth to her twins a few months back.
Although we’re quite sure that Loot has been enjoying this new role as a mother, she kept it real with her followers when she revealed that having not one but two new-born babies can be a bit hectic.
Loot joked about how things are going a bit haywire with her taking care of the twins and she strongly feels that their needs to be a platform for new mothers to offload and share their dreams, fears and struggles of becoming mothers.
She said:
“You know like, how you have AA, I really feel like we should have those weekly meetings for new moms ….. ‘Oh hi, I’m Loot, I’m a new mom, I don’t know what I’m doing, it’s going, I’ve been pooped on peed, I’m tired. I can’t even go to the loo ’cause I’m a mother of two ….. that’s the only thing that’s cute in my life guys.”
Aw, Loot don’t be so hard on yourself lady, we’re sure you’re doing great!
Her followers commended her for being so real about this new journey she has embarked on and encouraged her to keep going no matter how challenging being a mom may seem.
