41 year old Generations actress, mother of three and grandmother, Manaka Ranaka who is best known for her role of Lucy Diale recently took to her Instagram to share tips on preventing pregnancy.

Manaka who is as hilarious as her character on Generations advised her followers on several methods of contraceptive methods that women usually use  to prevent unwanted and unplanned pregnancies.
 
The actress first fell pregnant at 20years and also shocked Mzansi when she fell pregnant at the same time as her teenage daughter last year with her recent child at 41 years,
 
She’s now a grandmother at 41 years and also surprised fans when she revealed last year on her Instagram that she was advised to abort her first child and got fired when she refused to do: 
 
"Happy Birthday mama. The one who made me a mother . The one who made me a Gmom (grandmother) . You @kay.stone_core are such a blessing in my life. We were so meant to be. 20 years of doing this life thing together, and I’ve never looked back since. I remember when women I worked for told me to abort you and I was like la hlanya (y'all are crazy), they fired me!
 
 "Honestly I didn’t care, coz I was so determined to keep you and enter the next chapter in my life and that was being a mom ( Lauren Hill’s song Zion kept me going when I felt that the world was against us). I was ready man, as young as they said I was, I was ready for you, and its been quiet a journey baby. A journey I would repeat any day. Have a blessed day ngwanaka (my child). You’ll always be my baby. You’ve always been my Joy. My ZION. "


In the video, the actress also revealed that she’s gone back to work, and will be looking for various ways to prevent as she doesn’t want another unplanned pregnancy.

In the video clip, the Generations actress touched on various contraceptives methods which consists of both western and African remedies. She revealed pills, un-named 'umuthi' and 'iphepho', which she recommended jokingly. 

The actress was also trending previously when it was revealed that her current baby-daddy who she already shares another child with was married to her friend. 

Manaka will be reprising her role on Generations The Legacy which airs on SABC1 at 20:00, Monday to Friday.
