The kwaito star has succumbed to his illness.
The heart-breaking news of one of Kwaito's legendary stars - Mandoza's passing has sent shock-waves throughout the country.
Although the nation was well aware of his condition, Mandoza's fans and family were hoping that the Nkalakatha hit-maker would get better soon, unfortunately, Mandoza passed on Sunday.
According to EWN report, Mandoza had been taken to the hospital on Sunday morning, 18 September and had passed on during the day.
A family spokesperson had confirmed the news.

In an interview with Drum Magazine, his wife Mpho had spoken out about her husband's illness and was determined that her husband would overcome his illness.
"I'm not even thinking about death. We want to destroy this cancer forever. I know that eventually, we all leave this earth but I say this is not the time yet. He still has a purpose. We still have kids to raise." She told the magazine
Messages of condolences on social media have since been pouring in.
Mandoza was 38-years old and survived through his wife and kids, Mandoza's last public appearance was at the SABC Thank You concert held last week. Although blind, Mandoza still soldiered on and performed for his fans.
Details of Mandoza's memorial and funeral service have not been confirmed as yet as the family is still in mourning.
