A dark cloud has fallen upon the Langa family as kwaito musicians Professor and Character have lost their mother, Ntombazana Beauty Langa.
Langa passed away Monday night at Murchison Provincial Hospital in Port Shepstone, KZN.
Professor and Character were not available for a statement but we were able to get a hold of their brother, Bheki Langa who also works behind the scenes in the music industry.
“My mother was not seriously ill, last week Monday, she had gone to the hospital to collect monthly medication for BP and diabetes but doctors decided to admit her due to high levels of BP. We kept on checking her in hospital and hoping she would recover, unfortunately God had other plans for her,” said an emotional Bheki.
The Langa family hasn’t decided on the date of the funeral as they are still meeting with other family members for preparations.
“We are a huge family and my mother has always managed to look after us, We will miss her and her delicious cooking” said Bheki.
