“Casting news: Motshidi Motshegwa joins Isono. The award-winning actress was spotted by my sources on the set of the @BET_Africa telenovela shooting scenes for the show.”
Motshegwa hasn’t appeared on our screens since she was let go on The River.
Fans of Motshegwa were delighted to hear their favourite and multi-award-winning, talented actress is back to their screens
Here are some of their reactions:
“It’s 260 episodes, don’t sress yet.”
“Well she can play anything. Listen if you told me she was going to be the next James Bond, I would believe you. She's that good.”
“She's one the best in the game ...role well deserved.”
Motshidi had an extremely busy year last year as she took the honour of being the first and only actress from Mzansi to star in three international series’ in the same year. According to Mphela she starred in Letter to the King, Vagrant Queen and Good Omens which was shot in 2019 and aired last year on BBC.
There were some tweeps however who were not happy about their favourite actress joining Isono because they don’t like the show:
“Haibo, another big name on this bad show. But I love her. Hopefully the show gets better because of her. #IsonoBET,”
