Musa Mthombeni and his lovely wife Liesl Laurie - Mthombeni have hit the one-year mark of marriage. Taking to social media, Musa gushed over his wife and how far they have come to celebrate 11 months since joining their families.
Musa admitted that these monthiversaries can be a bit too much but he explained why they celebrate them.
"11 months married today! Happy monthiversary my baby. I know all these dates are starting to sound very convoluted at this point but here we go; 11 months legally married (home affairs- sign on the dotted line vibes) and 1 year since lobola negotiations was yesterday. But two years of bliss, love, happiness, joy, etc!"
Musa shocked people when he shared his desire of being a househusband. In a lengthy post, the presenter shared a picture of him with a doll on his back which resembles a baby.
He said he sends this picture to Liesl every morning, "This is the picture I send to Liesl every morning when she says she’s at work. This picture serves to motivate her to work hard and thrive in her career so that I can live my best house husband life.
"Liesl, you’re a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need a man. You can make all the money in the world and support your family whilst I take care of the home.I’m ready for you to achieve all your goals and be the CEO in corporate and allow me to be the CEO of the home. I’m ready to pepa children. I’ll do it the old school way so that they grow up to be grounded African children," he said.
Musa is destined to do it all, be a househusband to his fullest, engage in parent-child functions at school, and many more.
"I’m ready to buy a stroller and hire a photographer so they can take pictures of me crossing the street with your naughty little children. I’m ready to buy matching outfits so we can tag you in our TikTok videos whilst you’re on the grind. I’m ready to be the president of the PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION and to make them lunch in the morning and fetch them from school.
Musa says he has been working for more than 20 years now and Liesl should be the one to rescue him from the work life.

Musa was very grateful for this so he gushed over Liesl, "Someone who listens to me with intent. Someone who takes note of all my stupid ramblings about nothing and makes them a reality. A special birthday for the “old oupa.”
