Having been quiet on Twitter for a long time, the rapper announced today via her Twitter account that she would now be using the platform for work purposes. Moozlie said her account will now be managed by her team.

"I made a decision to remove myself from the platform because I felt like it didn't align with my personal views and I often found myself feeling disgruntled at the negative energy and the direction a lot of conversations would take. Whether it was about myself or work, the industry and people that I know, or just topics in general, things often got twisted and misconstrued to create narratives that weren't beneficial to me or my thoughts," she wrote.

Moozlie continued "I just really feel it encouraged positivity and Goodwill amongst the users. So, for my own peace and to preserve the quality of my mental and emotional health. I removed myself completely.

The TV star noted that there are some amazing on the platform who still want to see her content. "I do however believe that there are still some really amazing people on this platform that have supported my journey for 10 years now. I also work with some really amazing and trailblazing Brads whose stories I would like to share with those on this platform. I have therefore decided to allow my management to post work related posts and communication on my behalf," she wrote.
Moozlie is not the first SA celeb to be fed up with Twitter. Multi-award-winning rapper Nasty C called the platform another version of hell after he cautioned about how Twitter users make it toxic.  He encouraged them to delete the platform to protect their energy, instead of spending time lamenting about how toxic the app can be.

"Don’t spend all day on Twitter complaining about people on Twitter. Just leave. Delete it. It really is that simple. Post your links if you must but don’t stay here. If you’re looking for love/ kindness/ support/ understanding/ solution, you won’t find it here," he said.
"We’re giving this app way too much power & control over our real lives. I promise you if we all just left, it would be a huuuge step in the right direction. It’s just another version of hell.. that’s in your phone." he wrote.
In closing, he said "If you wanna be picked apart, judged, hated, dragged, mislead etc.. you’re in the right place. Get comfy. this is your home.  If you love yourself or want to start loving yourself, leave.  It really is that simple. Have a good one."
