Pearl Thusi, who never filters views on social media, had some unsavoury views on the iconic television producer, Mfundi Vundla.
It all started with a seemingly innocuous tweet from American filmmaker, Tyler Perry. He shared a short video of a pile of scripts for his hit drama series, The Haves and Have Nots before revealing that he wrote them all himself.
Twitter users by the handles, @Jadore_Jamila and @ThabileMpe were just some of the Tweeps that were bothered by Tyler's "one-man,gun-man" approach to writing his drama series and films that are premised around womanhood.
It didn't take long for this debate to make its way to South Africa but once it did, Pearl Thusi swiftly joined in. However, in her point she somehow managed to drop some dirt on the legendary TV producer Mfundi Vundla in the process.
The former Quantico actress came to Tyler Perry's defense, as she stated that Mfundi's long standing soapie, Generations:The Legacy is largely watched by the very same people that dragged Tyler. Her point was that Mfundi was guilty of the exact same "crimes' but nobody ever dragged him in the same way:
Below are just some of the comments from this whole debate around Tyler Perry.
