Judgement on rapper Pitch Black Afro's murder trial was supposed to be announced in court on Wednesday, however, the matter was postponed after he failed to appear in court.

The disgraced musician has been on trial for the murder of his wife Catherine Modisane's death two years ago at a bed and breakfast in Johannesburg. He is also on trial for defeating the ends of justice.

Pitch Black Afro was meant to hear judgement on the matter that has been dragging for years due to numerous postponements but was left behind and not transported to the South Gauteng High Court with other inmates.

According to TshisaLive, a police officer confirmed in the courtroom that Pitch Black Afro wouldn't be making it to court because he had been left behind.

Judgment has been postponed to Thursday.
