Creative ownership has always been something that those who work within the Arts and Media have longed for as their careers gradually grow. Unprofessionalism and issues of being treated as second best has seen many of our talented celebrities being unfairly dismissed or rather them choosing to jump before getting pushed.

One person that knows all too well about being engulfed by toxicity at the workplace is one of Mzansi's beloved sports broadcasters, Robert Marawa. The Kwa Zulu Natal native, has done what many believe was long overdue - launch his own sports channel.

Robert has levelled up in such an empowering manner. The broadcaster saw that there is a gap in the market for sports channels on the internet, especially in South Africa. The revolutionary channel is called MarawaTV.

This move comes after being bitterly dismissed on giant sports channel, Super Sport, via a text message. Over the years there had been reports that the relationship between Robert and his former employer wasn't so rosy at the Super Sport headquarters which lead in his unceremonious exit.

Lovers of all things sports will be thoroughly entertained and informed as MarawaTV promises to deliver only the premium when it comes to various parts within the sporting world.

Below are just some of snippets that Robert shared on his Instagram page:

The channel promises to serve as a window to exclusive sports content including enthralling behind the scenes footage from all corners of the world. Robert's interviewing skills have always been admired by the audience, therefore the audience will greatly enjoy him as he hosts various guests on the channel.

Global sports culture is about to be given an interesting face lift, and who better than Robert aka Madluphuthu, to drive that fresh take on sports to the next level.?
