No justice for Senzo Meyiwa 3 years after his death

On 26 October 2014, South Africa woke up to the shocking news of the untimely death of Senzo Meyiwa. Meyiwa was shot and killed in Vosloorus during a robbery at the home of his girlfriend, actress and singer Kelly Khumalo. He was declared dead on arrival at hospital in Johannesburg.

It's been three years later and no arrests have been made, fans of the late soccer star have gone to honor his memory and still remind the justice system that Senzo's family have still not received the justice they deserve.

So what exactly is the update on the Senzo Meyiwa court case?

Well, in a nutshell, according to an iol article, top private investigators were hired to help solve the case but unfortunately, the investigators have classified Meyiwa's murder as a cold case because police investigations were unsuccessful in getting to the bottom of Senzo's murder. 

The private investigators also highlighted that the reason the case has gone cold is that there were far too many people who were involved in the investigation.

So will we ever find out who killed Senzo Meyiwa? Only time will tell, some victims have managed to get justice twenty years after the crime was commited.
