Simba Mhere’s funeral capped the end of an emotional seven days in South African entertainment. Having lost the Top Billing presenter, we had to learn of the deaths of beloved personalities Bojo Mujo and Prosper Mkwaiwa. Mhere’s funeral, which took place today was a chance for many friends and family to say goodbye and pay their respects. Many celebrity colleagues who have shared their respects for Simba, (And there’ve been many, #RIPSimba has been trending for most of this week). Not for the first time this week, Amanda Du Pont voiced her sadness at the death of Simba. This time, through her Instagram profile, she revealed that Simba had been a big part of one of her biggest interviews (I think we all know the one).
