The media personality is very cautious about what he posts or how he poses because he is scared people are going to zoom in and see who he is on the trip with.

Somizi who is rocking the best vacation looks by the way, shared a clip of his close encounter with a lion and described the feeling as though his soul left his body, because he was so scared.

Donning Gucci head to toe, Somizi served some of the best fashion looks while wrestling the wild animals - in his mind that is.

In another post, Somizi mocked the media and said the headlines might even read, “HEADLINES: SOMIZI GOT EATEN BY LIONS WHILST PEEING.”

Then Somizi also mocked the Americans who always think Africans live in the wild with the animals. He made a video directed at his American friend and explained that in SA this is how we live.

“This is how we live every single day, the lions are resting at the moment, the hyenas have taken the western area of East Rand, Katlehong…ladies and gentleman welcome to South Africa.”

Somizi is making a very big comeback to Idols SA and his return was met with a lot of praise.

At a press briefing for the new season for Idols, he said he is innocent until proven guilty, "Honestly as you may have all noticed, I haven't spoken about anything. My private life is my private life and my work life is my work life. I feel like I can't say anything at the moment and I don't was to say anything. All I can say is that it was one of the toughest times in my career but we move on, like they say you are innocent until proven guilty," he said.

This was in reference to the abuse allegation levelled against him by his former lover Mohale Motaung. He alleged that Somizi threatened him with a knife and even threatened to harm himself. Among other things, he said Somizi was controlling and very abusive.

But Somizi denied all these claims and said although their relationship was not perfect, he was never abusive, "Our relationship has its ups and downs but I have NEVER been physically or knowingly emotionally abusive towards my estranged husband. I vehemently deny the allegations of criminal acts towards him and would like to clear my name of that defamation.

"What I am going to state however is that we had one altercation in which I had to defend myself and both of us were physically hurt by the other. I am at this stage not at liberty to dive deeper into the details but can state that he is not a victim in this situation."
