Last week Tweeps were on a rampage over DSTV demanding that customers pay a premium price for reruns.
This week a troll decided to involve Somizi in the scuffle. Somizi has been working with DSTV as a brand ambassador and his two shows Living the dream With Somizi and #SomhaleUnion both air on DSTV channels.
The troll asserted that Somizi gets free DSTV because of his affiliation with them that is while he is not leading the #DSTVMustFall campaign. The tweep even complained that on top of the already high prize he is being overcharged by an extra R4.
We all know that people like bo @somizi don’t pay @DStv had it been that he was paying he would be leading this campaign #DstvMustFall. I’m even over charged extra R4 from paying R495 to now paying R499.
Somizi who is ever so calm in his replies dealt with the tweep with just one sentence and a screenshot of his most recent payment for the entertainment subscription service.
“Asking won’t hurt…now u know,”
