With an acting career that spans more than 10-years, Sonia Sedibe has had a great run thus far as an actress.
Even though she took a prolonged break from the acting scene a few years ago to focus on her other business ventures, Sonia has ensured that her return onto the acting scene is recognized.
With a role on SABC 2's telenovela - Keeping Score, we've not only seen Sonia blossom as an actress but as a film producer as well.
She's mentored many aspiring actors in the industry, placing them under her wing and showing them the ropes when it comes to surviving in this industry.
But as an actress herself, Sonia has come to make mistakes and learn a lot from those mistakes in the past.
Speaking to Move! magazine recently, Sonia shared that one of her greatest regrets in her career was passing on the opportunity of acting on Mzansi Magic's latest drama series, Isthembiso because of her other commitments.
She mentions that she would've loved to act alongside Hamilton Dlamini who plays the role of Banzi Kunene on the show.
But it's not all doom and gloom for the 40-year-old actress who plans on building a powerful TV and film empire.
During the interview with the publication, Sonia had also mentioned that in the next five years she sees herself creating, writing and producing the best TV/Film and stage content in Africa.
Shine Sonia, Shine!
