Fans are drawn to him because they love his character, Leshole Mabitsela.
In an in-depth interview with Drum magazine, the actor tells all, when asked about how he feels about the reaction his character gets on a daily basis, he said, “It shocks me. People are so in love with my character, even kids are very fond of me. The love is just so amazing. People don’t even know my real name, they call me Leshole.”
He then goes on to say that he doesn’t like fame, “I love art and acting because I’m also a poet and a dancer.”
Thabo also spoke about having a five year old daughter who lives in Mpumalanga.
