Songstress Thandiswa Mazwai was defending the film Inxeba from hompophobic tweeps.

What quickly spiraled into a whole conversation about homophobia, started as a comment about the ever so talked about controversial film Inxeba. Thandiswa like many has defended the film about gay men and circumcision but the conversation quickly turned into a let's interrogate Thandiswa session. The discussion started on radio 702 and that she was only defending gay Africans.
As we all may or may not know, Thandiswa Mazwai is gay and has been public about it but some fans aren't taking it too well.

Whilst some people on social media were sharing their anger about the movie and how the Xhosa tribe was disrespected because of the movie, the award winning songstress defended it, bare in mind she is Xhosa herself.
Thandiswa went on to add that as much as fans love them and their music, they are really homophobic and she doesn't like that. Some tweeps jumped to her defense, explaining that their indifferent about her sexuality and who she sleeps with, as long as she still delivers good music.

What we like about Thandiswa is not only did she stand up for who she is and what she believes in, she was also well composed when tweeps tried to drag her and brought up her sister Ntsiki Mazwai. She even jokingly offered some of them money to explain to her how she's acting like her little sister.
