She wrote on Twitter: “I am giving away a free feature this month. Lets hope an unsigned but great artist can benefit from that.One love. #Kingtha4thebabies.”
Thandiswa, who is well established in the music industry, emphasised that this once in a lifetime opportunity is only meant for unknown and undiscovered artists. She said: “Yo listen this free feature is especially for those who are unknown. Why would I give a free feature to someone who is known and can afford it?.”
Whoever gets the chance to work with Thandiswa will be one lucky artist and I’m sure it will be a massive boost for his or her career. We all know that opportunities like this don’t come cheap. These days, musicians charge thousands of rands just to drop a few lines on a track. This just goes to show that Miss Mazwai is all about opening doors for others.
