Season 3 of Mzansi Magic's gripping drama series Housekeepers has come to an end and leading lady Thando Thabethe is being praised for her stellar performance on social media.

Radio presenter and actress Thando Thabethe is being given her flowers on social media by people for her performance on episode 13 of Housekeepers. The final episode aired on Monday night with more blood being spilled.

Thando played the revengeful Linda Ndlovu who stops at nothing to seek justice for her mother. Linda is an undercover agent who works as a house help in order to save her brother Mtho Ndlovu.

Thando took to Twitter to acknowledge the praises she is receiving and also show some gratitude to the writer and producer of the show Portia Gumede. She said in a lengthy thread that she had to audition 6 times for the role of Linda and that it was not easy playing her.

"I remember Portia Gumede had me audition about 6 times for the role of Linda & I remember walking into that audition room and ultimately to set, unshaken, fearless," she wrote.

She explained that there were some scenes that gave her anxiety so she had panic attacks.

"I share this because most actors are afraid to. The work we do required us to dig DEEP!!! & to have an incredible, crew & cast that walk the journey with u has been the greatest blessing of doing this show. I’ve had the opportunity to play along industry greats, to learn, to grow," she shared.
