The Soil has cooked up something brand new for their fans!

The acapella trio is excited to let their fans know that they will be dropping a brand new single titled ’Shikisha’ this August.

The new release comes off the back of a hugely successful 8-year reign of platinum-selling hits.

Not only have they been dominating the charts with their melodic tunes, but they've also got a sold-out show at the New York Apollo Theatre under their belt!

We first fell in love with the multiple award-winning group in 2011 when they released their self-titled debut albumThe Soil which sold over 50,000 copies.  The albums Nostalgic Moments (2014) and Echoes of Kofifi (2016) soon followed and the group has been a household name ever since.

We're sure all the fans are looking forward to the new single Shikisha!

You can catch The Soil performing live tomorrow, August 3rd, at Gold Reef City. The show starts at 20:00 and tickets are sold at CompuTicket from R250- R500.

If you've missed seeing The Soil doing their thing, be sure to be there!
