In the past months there have been rumours and several reports that Trevor and Lucille Gumbi were getting divorced. Although the two have constantly denied it, this time around they may be confirming the rumours.
In January, Lucille informed the media that she and her husband were not getting a divorce but merely sorting out their marital issues like any other married couple.
However, the public was taken aback this morning after Lucille posted an Instagram photo of her and Trevor with a caption that read: “It’s over…11 years of marriage and 17 years in a relationship. Over!” which was an original post, posted by Trevor around the same time this morning.
Lucille’s comments section is currently filled with messages of disappointment and heartache from people who were rooting for them.
Throughout the past year, the couple have been focusing on improving not only their relationship but their health and their business as well.
The couple co-own Gumbi Productions, which manages talents like Ayanda Thabethe and Celeste Ntuli and are known to enjoy traveling together with their two sons.
We really hope this is one of those really bad jokes. Besides with all the publicity stunts entertainers have been pulling lately, we really hope it is nothing but a bad joke.
