South African comedian Trevor Noah has once again managed to take his career to new heights. The funnyman, who is loved not only by South African fans, but all around the world, is set to take his talent to American late-night tv.

Noah has been hired as a contributor for Comedy Central’s, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart – a late-night satirical news show. The Emmy and Peabody Award winning show will feature Noah as part of the team as of December this year.

Excited about this new venture, Noah took to his twitter account with the following message. “Thank you so much for all your love and support.  Being part of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is such an honour. I can’t wait to start!”

Noah has been flying the South African flag high in the US, appearing on the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and also being the first South African comedian to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman.

At the rate he is going, I can’t wait to see what he does next.
