This past weekend saw Motsweding FM DJ and North West FM presenter, Chris Matshaba, succumb to a battle with an illness he has been suffering from for a while.
An unnamed family member confirmed his passing with Drum, but they are yet to reveal the cause of death.
Chris Matshaba will be laid to rest at his home village of Phalane (Ramokokastad) in the North West on Saturday, 17 February 2018.
Matshaba leaves behind a wife, actress Tsholo Matshaba who is most popularly known for her roles as Meme in Muvhango and Keneilwe on Mamello (both shows aired on SABC 2). The couple got married in 2014.
