As entertaining as Yimlo has become, some South African viewers, are just not convinced about the authenticity of the show.
For the past couple of weeks, we've seen numerous shows that have been accused of staging their content.
Two weeks back Uyang'thandaNa was suspected of scripting one of their episodes after a lady by the name of Lerato Habiba Makgatho was said to be seen on numerous other shows and is known to be an actress as well.
The same accusations were thrown at Yimlo's recent episode.
On Tuesday night the show introduced us to a man by the name of Meshack who confessed that he was dating two women who had no knowledge that they were being cheated on by Meshack.
Meshack made matters worse when he revealed his interest in getting into a polygamous marriage with both ladies.
And as entertaining as the episode was, some viewers just did not buy all that was said and done during this episode.
This whole episode doesn't feel real, it appears to be staged #yimlo— Thandi Thekiso (@thandi_thekiso) February 27, 2018
Yeah, people were just not sold hey.
And of course, jokes were thrown around about the authenticity of this particular episode.

Hmmm...honestly this is not a bad idea, Lindelani better start working on executing this idea before someone steals it.
Like if all these reality shows are staged, I would like to step in and start my own reality show, helping people get their jackets back from their exes, I'd like to call it "Tlisa slamba" #yimlo— Lindelani Buthelezi (@LindelaniMvelo) February 27, 2018
I once said that these reality shows are staged and I was hit with a backlash being tuned I'm talking because I'm in the industry #yimlo— Paledi L Motlanthe (@Paledi_Mot) February 28, 2018
