Lindo from Umlazi, was brutally murdered early last month in an alleged homophobic attack by a homophobe. The death of the musician has since sparked a major debate with many people demanding justice for Lindokuhle.
The musician was stabbed 21 times and he died with a knife stuck in his eye. Lindokuhle’s friend who did not want to be named detailed how the incident unfolded. She said they went to the tuckshop to get something to eat but things went south when a man pulled out a knife and stabbed Lindokuhle.
Lindokuhle suffered many stab wounds and he was transported to a nearby hospital to receive some medical attention but he died in hospital after bleeding severely.
The heart-wrenching episode left Mzansi and members of the LGBTQI society demanding justice for the musician whose life was cut short.
The suspect who allegedly killed him, Mabhuda Moguda was arrested and he abandoned his bail application citing that he felt safer behind bars.
