It’s only February and Isibaya actress,
Zinhle Mabena has already had more drama in her real life than the now cancelled telenovela has had in an entire season.
It all started when Sunday World revealed last month that the actress was drinking and driving a few years ago and caused a car accident that left a man paralyzed, and killed two other passengers.

The accident has now resulted in
Mabena filing for divorcing, as her ex-husband, Robert Ngwenya claimed that the actress apparently tried to kill him.
It’s reported that Mabena was arrested two nights ago for allegedly conspiring to commit murder for which she appeared before Pretoria Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
According to Sunday Sun’s story, the actress tried to kill her ex-husband on the 28th of January but his bodyguard died instead. Though there was apparently a docket that revealed evidence that linked the actress to the attempted murder and murder case, the case has now been thrown, according to Daily Sun.
Though the actress has described the ending as sweet victory, she’s revealed that spending a night in jail was a traumatic experience.
This is what she told Daily Sun about her time in jail: “This was traumatic to say the least. The prosecution have seen through the shenanigans peddled against me and have thrown the case out of court. I am free and going home to re-join my children.”
The actress also thanked her family, her legal team and friends who have supported her and never lost hope and faith in her innocence, despite all the bad publicity.
He co-star from Isibaya Sihle Ndaba has supported
Mabena through the drama and rallied behind Mabena when many didn’t and even publicly declared her support and replying with: “you are loved” on Mabena’s Instagram account.
Mabena’s lawyer, Joshua Lazarus has also released a statement which confirmed that the actress was unlawfully arrested but she’s now a free woman:
“She’s now a free woman after the NPA declined to place the matter on the roll because of the preposterous natured of the allegations against our client. The mischievous allegations ironically from her husband, who she’s recently, filed a divorce against, and against whom our client has obtained an interim protection order.”
Sources also reveal that Robert Ngwenya is releasing a tell-all book regarding his marriage with Mabena. The two have also deleted each other images on their social media accounts and
Mabena has switched back to her maiden name Mabena on social media.
