Hated by some and loved by many, Zodwa Wabantu is a controversial entertainer and businesswoman who gained fame for her provocative dressing and dances.
Besides her work, Zodwa is also known for her rather controversial romantic relationships that have sparked conversations from some of her critics.
A few years ago, Zodwa Wabantu announced her upcoming wedding and she was so excited about it even though things didn't work out as she had planned.

Did Zodwa Wabantu get married?
In 2019, we almost got to witness Zodwa Wabantu’s wedding after she got engaged to her ex-boyfriend- Ntobeko Linda, but sadly it didn’t happen as she called off the engagement.
Like most of her relationships, Zodwa Wabantu’s relationship with Ntobeka Linda was unconventional in a number of ways.
To begin with, Linda, like most of Zodwa Wabantu’s love interests, was way younger than her. In addition to that, Zodwa was the one who went down on one knee and asked Linda to marry her after buying expensive engagement rings for both of them that reportedly cost her R 61,000. She also reportedly paid lobola for Linda who was set to take up her surname after the wedding.
Just days before her wedding in July 2019, Zodwa Wabantu called off her engagement.
"I'm Losing myself. I need my Spark back. I'm not Happy anymore. Free Ntobeko he's still Growing. No Wedding" She wrote on Instagram.

Even though Zodwa didn’t get married to Ntobeko Linda, it didn’t stop her from dressing in a wedding gown and walking down the aisle like a real bride.
She posted a series of photos of herself in a stunning designer wedding gown revealing that she had kept to her promise of getting married with or without him.
Speaking to Drum Magazine about her “wedding”, Zodwa Wabantu revealed that she had actually not gotten married in the photos she had shared on Instagram but explained that she had walked down the fashion runway in a fashion show that had been held at ICC in Durban in the gown that she would have won on her actual wedding day.
Surprisingly, Zodwa Wabantu’s wedding gown was quite modest compared to her very provocative outfits that we are all used to. The stunning white princess ball gown was designed by a popular South African designer- Muzi Mlambo.
She also revealed that she had gotten back her lobola from Ntobeka Linda.

After breaking up with her fiance, Zodwa Wabantu found love again in the arms of a younger businessman called Vusi Buthelezi but unfortunately, their relationship did not last for long and they broke up.
She later got into a relationship with Olefile Mpudi, aka Ricardo who is in his early 20s and has another girlfriend of whom Zodwa was aware.
It however appears that Zodwa Wabantu’s relationship with Ricardo has reached its end as it was recently reported that they no longer see eye to eye and that they even applied for restraining orders against each other.
