South Africa media personality, Zodwa Wabantu, took to Instagram on Monday, 16 November 2020, to share the process of herself getting tested for HIV and AIDs. The reality star shared a video of herself at a nurse’s office where she presented her finger to have her blood drawn. She directed the cameraman to showcase every step of the process, and asked that he zoomed into the step which saw the nurse drawing the blood from her finger.

In the video, Zodwa can be heard promoting season two of her reality show, Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored which is scheduled to premiere in early 2021. She explained that due to the speculation around her status, she wanted her followers to tune into the second season to find out the results. She even captioned it with, “Is Zodwa Wabantu HIV Positive or Negative? You Tell me, Season 2 Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored.”

A few moments later, she shared the results of her test, which did not give a clear indication on whether she was negative or positive. The image showed a positive result on the left and negative result on the right, and Zodwa called upon her fans to guess what her results were. She stated, “You Decide for Me But Let’s Talk. Left is Postive/ Right is Negative. Zodwa Wabantu Uncensored @mojalovetv Real Reality Show.”

Her poll taking did not go down likely with her followers, who were angered by the fact that she was using the sensitive topic of HIV as a selling point for her show. They argued that if she was negative, she had still solicited a positive patient to get tested as part of her promotional post, which was immoral. When her followers called her out in the comments section, Zodwa simply asked them to stay tuned for season two for more to be explained.

The sultry dancer has been hard at work filming her the second season of her critically acclaimed reality show Zodwa Uncensored which airs on Moja Love which is expected to air in early 2021. The reality series is centred around Zodwa’s controversial life, including her love life and her many businesses.

The show had a successful run during the first season and fans demanded a second season, and now Zodwa is ready to deliver it. In post she shared on Instagram holding a camera, she revealed that she was filming in White City, Johannesburg, with the Moja Love team, and said Mzansi should watch out for season 2 of the show.
