Another long weekend means we basically need to find things to fill up the time. With so much happening this weekend, it is a great time to investigate your wardrobe!

South Africans love to shop on a holiday, and we love those long weekend sales! Here are a few locally owned stores for your Easter Weekend retail therapy.

Style Alert SA

If the name sounds familiar, you probably follow them on Instagram. The chic boutique was actually founded by Instagram influencer, Thuli Mola. Situated in Joburg CBD, the store aims to provide followers with the same fashions that they have been double tapping on what was Thuli's blog for years!

Dope Store

If you're into streetwear, this is the mecca! The store stocks a mix of local and international top streetwear brands. You can find them in Braam, the home of the skrr skrrs, with a store from your fave minimalist IG page. Go there and you might even spot your fave celebs as this is a go-to store for many.

Thula Sindi

Now, this is a name you should recognize. Thula is one of our most iconic local designers after nearly 14 years in the game! He even opened his own boutiques in Johannesburg, Pretoria and his home town of Klerksdorp - a huge feat for a local brand. His clients include everyone from Rami Chuene to Pearl Thusi! Can't make it this weekend? You can also order his designer dresses online!

Prefer shopping online? Well, we got something for that too. Zando is one of the country's biggest online clothing stores - it's honestly basically like an online fashion emporium! Get basically everything and anything. And the best part? They almost always have a sale!
