Anele Claps Back At Oscars Dress Criticism

Anele Mdoda was repping Mzansi and the entire African continent this weekend at the Oscars in Los Angeles

The TV & radio presenter was selected to host MNet’s red carpet feature for a second year in a row and had the opportunity to mingle with A-listers like Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron and so many more!

But instead of praising homegirl, tweeps picked on the star for her choice of clothing.

Ahead of the swank ceremony, Anele posted pics of herself rehearsing for the big night;

It’s safe to say tweeps were less than impressed with what she wore;

But Anele wasn’t having any of their nonsense and put one tweep in their place with this stinger;

It must be noted that Anele won the crowd over with her actual Oscars dress on Sunday night;

Anele also had a painful clapback to a fan who said she must ‘say ‘Hi’ to Kelly Rowland’.

“She does not crack an invite to the Oscars”, Anele replied.

We can’t wait to see more of Anele’s experience (as well as her witty one-liners) at the Oscars!
