Bonang's Coat Tour

It’s been a bit over a week since Queen B landed in New York City and she has been slaying all the way.

The media darling told The Juice in January that she will be moving to the Big Apple for a little while, we know now that she’s there to film scenes for her hit reality show Being Bonang and working with people from the states. It’s no secret that B saves her best fashion moments for the NYC streets so it’s no surprise that she has been flaunting all her designer winter looks on Instagram since she landed.

All her looks are amazing but her coats are definitely something to write home about. We don’t get a winter here like the cold in the US so we don’t get to have as much fun with winter coats as we would like – Bonang looked at her closet and decided “This is my time”. Here are some of our favourite coats seen so far on this trip…

First up is a showstopper of a trench coat. It’s tiered (hopefully) faux fur on top the crushed fur on the bottom half. She wore it over a pink powersuit she rocked on her first day of meetings around the city. We love the pop of colour and how the fur was a complimentary blush pink. She definitely landed with her best foot forward.

Next day she came through with this oversized hoodie inspired coat. We can’t be sure but it looks like a rain coat. The orange and black give a striking design that mimics the line of a basketball. Somehow it looks chilled and laidback but absolutely amazing at the same time.

They say bright colours can be your secret weapon in the boardroom, is that why Bonang pulled out this bright yellow trench for her meeting at Global Citizen? Never one to miss the opportunity to secure a bag, B makes sure to take as many meetings as she can when away to continue making those international connections.

Most recently, she shared this behind the scenes sneak peak of her latest project. Bonang pulled out this full length tiered fur coat for a cold day shooting in Times Square. We don’t know what this mystery project is as yet but we sure will recognize that coat when it airs!
