In true Bonang fashion, this was not a small thing. Ever since Woolworths kind of messed up the announcement, we have all been waiting in anticipation to see what she really has up her sleeve.
The Riboville Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg was the site chosen to introduce
“The House of BNG has been a passion project of mine for a long time. It’s no secret that champagne is my favourite drink, so getting the chance to make my own MCC was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on!” says Bonang of her latest venture. When sharing the story behind what inspired her to launch this business, Bonang shared that it was actually her haters!
Remember that time we all dragged Bonang because we thought #GirlsWithVineyards meant she bought a vineyard? Well, fast forward 2 years later and she can’t help but admit that that social media storm unlocked a huge business opportunity today.
Plenty of big names came out to support she who reigns supreme over the entertainment scene. Boity was there, Jessia Nkosi too, Maps Maponyane was the host with the most, the beauty bloggers all came out and many more famous faces. People were most surprised to see Bonang with her old frienemy, Somizi. The two have a long standing back and forth in the media but today came together for a good cause – making money. Both reality show stars were said to be shooting scenes for the upcoming seasons of their hit shows!
Looking to the future, Bonang let invited guests in on a not so well kept secret: she’s not finished yet. Between new shows, a move to New York and already having plans to expand her MCC brand, Bonang is not slowing down soon!
