The MET took place recently and social media is still buzzing with all the hits and misses from the prestigious event. We asked Tshego Seakgo, Ryan Keys, and Mayuri Naidoo from Broken Vows to share their critique on a few of the looks of the night
I like this dress, I just wish Blake would have been a little more adventurous with her hair, maybe a messy bun or perfectly sleeked back ponytail with super long extensions – Tshego
She looked magnificent but it looks as though she is trying to copy Beyoncé in her blue Givenchy dress she wore a while ago! – Ryan

I love this dress but kylie did sparkles and a bob at last year’s Met Gala so I’m a little bored. Even though it’s blonde, it’s still blonde and the dress still sparkles. I prefer a little more Met couture and less bad-bad kylie Jenner would have been nice – Tshego
Well hello, there Kylie! She has really blown this look away! She is usually not the one in the family that stands out, but this time she looks better than Kim! All I can say is wow! – Ryan
Love Kylie’s look- it’s a piece of artwork, it’s textured and the corset gives it an edgy look and it’s a beautiful rose gold colour. I love me some shimmer! – Mayuri
Gigi looks every bit like the supermodel she is. This is Tommy Hilfiger outfit is perfect for this year’s theme “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between,” it’s sexy, its grunge & daring. Somewhere in between fashion moment and mess! I love it – Tsgeho
Gigi Hadid did like one super short and sexy outfit on one side and a flowy gown on the next… It’s the Met. I think it’s kinda cool – Mayuri
Priyanka Chopra in Ralph Lauren. I like this but I don’t love it. This year’s met is honoring in my opinion “The king” of Japanese fashion. She could have done more but in her defense, it is her first Met Gala. So A for effort. She looks better than Blake and Kylie put together – Tshego
A trench coat that dreams are made of!!! I love the drama of this trench! It’s a real show stopper and she really pulls it off – Ryan
Love Priyanka. Hate her outfit. It’s bland, boring and beige. And also it can’t make up its mind. Is it a coat or a ball gown? And the boots are awful. And I’m over Kim and her plain dressing man, where is the art or the creative expression? She looks like a sexy tent but come now. Enough. You have a million designers on call, it’s the one night you can be outrageous – Mayuri
