Mollie King wants to date an American man.

The Saturdays singer has fallen for their charms while filming the band’s new reality show ‘Chasing The Saturdays’ in Los Angeles and admits she goes especially weak at the knees for a New York accent.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”American guys are really nice, open and complimentary. UK guys think it is cheesy to be nice. Guys back home are a little bit more shy and reserved.

”I like a New York accent. If there is a hot New York guy I wouldn’t say no. If there are any good ones, send them my way.”

The 25-year-old beauty is the only single member of the band and the other girls – Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Humes, Una Healy and Vanessa White – are desperate to set her up with someone.

Mollie was linked to fun-loving Prince Harry last year and was quick to quash rumours of their romantic involvement, claiming the pair were ”just friends”. She subsequently revealed they had in fact gone out on a date, but Harry didn’t turn out to be her prince charming.

Her bandmate Rochelle, 23, recently joked: ”We’re trying to find her a prince, but not necessarily a royal one.”

Aside from being a sucker for an American accent, ’30 Days’ hitmaker Mollie previously admitted she loves a man in uniform and wants a sailor to sweep her off her feet.

She said: ”I’m single. The girls are going to set me up on dates – I hope! Bring me a nice sailor and I’m there!”
