Paula Abdul is to be a guest judge on ‘Dancing with the Stars: All Stars’.
The 50-year-old singer will join the panel of experts on next Monday’s episode (15.10.12) to assess the star-studded line-up of the ABC ballroom dancing competition.
Paula has plenty of judging experience, having been a well-loved panellist on ‘American Idol’ from 2002 to 2009.
She signed up to appear alongside former ‘American Idol’ star Simon Cowell on his rival US reality show ‘The X Factor’ in 2011, but was booted off from the programme after just one season along with Nicole Scherzinger, to be replaced by Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.
‘Dancing with the Stars: All Stars’ sees favourites from previous series including Bristol Palin and Kirstie Alley return to battle it out to be crowned best ballroom dancer.
Pamela Anderson was the first celebrity to be eliminated and the ‘Baywatch’ babe was left in tears after receiving the lowest score from the judges.
She sobbed: ”I think emotions sometimes take over and also I’ve been travelling a lot, I probably should have rehearsed more … and they’re right.
”I should have put a lot more effort in, and I’m going to because next week we have such a great dance and I really want to get to it.”
