She is a South African actress and DJ best known for her starring role as "Thando Nkosi" in the SABC1 sitcom My Perfect Family. In 2013 she began co-hosting the e.tv music show Club 808, making her debut on the show on Friday, 28 June 2013. In the same year, she guest-starred in an episode of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions and was a commentator on the Vuzu show 10 Over 10. Also in 2013, she had a guest-starring role in an episode of the e.tv romance anthology series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style (Season 2, Episode 3). In 2014 she was the host of the SABC1 DJ reality competition talent search 1s and 2s.
The seasoned TV personality has recently added 'Generations Legacy actress' to her CV, which for her, is a dream come true.
Tell us a bit about your character
I play an educated young girl named "Nolwazi" who was born and bred in a township in Jo'burg. She left the city to pursue a career in Cape Town. Now she's back in Jo'burg to shake things up.
Has it always been a dream to be a part of the Generations cast?
Oh yes! It has always been a dream. It's such an honour to be part of such a huge show in SA.
How did you get casted?
I auditioned like everyone else through my agent.
Have you started shooting - and how would you describe the mood on set?
Yes, I've started shooting. Everybody works well together. The mood is friendly, very welcoming and calm.
What should viewers expect from "Nolwazi"?
"Nolwazi" is feisty. She's going to stir things up...
