Lira is sharing her talent with the rest of the world.

The multi-award-winning singer, who has conquered the African continent, is determined to make her mark on the United States of America.

Lira will showcase a seven-part reality television show called Dream Chaser USA, which documents the debut release of her Rise Again album in North America. Viewers will also get to see the grueling two-month tour across 20 American states that she and her  band embarked on in support of the release.

On Wednesday (3 June), we were invited to the exclusive preview of the new show, where we got to watch the first episode. All we can say is: Wow!

Lira, who started her journey about ten years ago, explained how the idea of Dream Chaser came about. "Robin (her husband) had this idea. We are always having cameras and we never know what to do with this footage. We probably have footage from the last five years, we shoot everything, every random thing. So we've got tons of this footage and we don't know what to do with it. And he was like 'dude, we've got cameras, we're going on this amazing experience'. It took us three/four years to put our first album together to be ready for the States."

She said you need a record label, a markerter, management and a tour person to pull everything off. "So it took us all that time to put all of that together  We have a nice little team going so we were like we're ready to enter the US market. So the album was ready, so off we went and we were like 'whoa, we need to capture this beyond just this little snippet and this and that..."

In the show, viewers will also get to meet Lira's parents and siblings, who are based in the States. Oh, and get ready to be inspired by this hardworking woman and her team as they push to make their dreams a reality.

It is not yet clear where or when the show will air, but we are certainly ready for it.
