Arsenal and PSG Deadlock 1-1 After Extra Time, Penalties Loom in UCL Final

Sports

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are locked together at 1-1 after an intense 120 minutes of football, with a penalty shootout now set to decide who advances.

Kai Havertz gave the Gunners the advantage during the first half, breaking the deadlock with a strike that put Arsenal ahead.

However, PSG hit back after the restart as Ousmane Dembélé levelled the match from the penalty spot, restoring parity and keeping both teams in contention.

Neither side was able to push ahead again, despite chances at both ends during the remainder of normal time and throughout extra time. With the scores still level when the additional periods finished, the contest will go to spot-kicks to determine the winner.
