Arsenal, reigning Premier League champions, will launch their title defence at home against newly promoted Coventry City when the 2026–27 season begins on August 21.
Coventry make an immediate return to the top tier for the first time in 25 years, and they face a stern opening test against Mikel Arteta’s team, who ended a 22-year wait to lift the league trophy last season.

Manchester City, who begin the new campaign without former coach Pep Guardiola, are set to host Bournemouth, and Newcastle United will face Liverpool at St. James’ Park as the Reds are now under the leadership of Andoni Iraola.
Chelsea’s campaign gets underway under new head coach Xabi Alonso with a London derby away to Fulham, before the blockbuster Manchester derby is scheduled for September 12.
