The Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) has launched applications for coaching roles across its Senior National Team, Junior National Team and Para Badminton programme, aiming to strengthen the country’s international results.
The federation says the vacancies cover three positions: Head Coach, Assistant Coach I, and Assistant Coach II.
BFN describes the recruitment drive as part of a wider effort to build a more robust technical system—one that can spot promising players early, support their development and improve Nigeria’s competitiveness at major events.
Coaches selected for the programme will be responsible for designing training plans, preparing athletes for competitions, reviewing performances and directing long-term player growth. The federation also expects successful applicants to act as mentors, while reinforcing discipline, professionalism and respect for the sport.
