South African celebrities turned up the romance and gratitude for Mother’s Day this year, using their social media pages to celebrate the women who mean the most to them.
On the day, several stars shared messages, sweet family moments, and warm reflections to honour motherhood and the vital influence mothers have in their households. Cassper Nyovest, Andile Mpisane and Zakes Bantwini were among those joining in.
Award-winning singer Zakes Bantwini dedicated a heartfelt note to his wife, Nandi Madida.
In the tribute, he praised her as an outstanding mother to their children and highlighted the ongoing affection she brings to their family.

Music artist and DJ Andile Mpisane, meanwhile, used the occasion to celebrate not only his wife, but also the other important women who have shaped his journey.
Posting lovely photos of them, Andile thanked them for their sacrifices, their guidance, and the constant support they’ve offered him.
“Happy Mother’s Day to these beautiful, intelligent women who inspire me everyday. Thank you for the endless love, sacrifices, and support through every stage of my life. Your strength, kindness, and wisdom continue to guide me every day. I’m truly grateful to have you as my mothers and the mother of my beautiful children. Wishing you a day filled with love, peace, and happiness,” he captioned the post.
Rapper Cassper Nyovest also won over followers online as he marked his wife Pulane Mojaki’s first Mother’s Day.
He shared a touching message expressing appreciation for everything she does for their family.
“Your first Mother’s Day. A simple thank you for everything, my everything. Not only from me but from us, those who count on you daily. I don’t know what it takes to be a mother, I just know that you make our lives easier and allow us to flourish. Happy Mother’s Day Mrs P. From Daddy and the kids,” he wrote.
