Business

Dangote Refinery has raised the ex-depot price of petrol by N75, pushing the pump price higher as global oil prices firmed. The company said the adjustment was announced on Wednesday, lifting the rate from N1,200 to N1,275 per litre.

Alongside the ex-depot change, coastal pricing was also increased, moving to N1,215 per litre. The revisions come while Brent crude trades around $114.80 per barrel, reflecting a rise of roughly 3.15% for the period.

On Wednesday, Brent crude was reported at about $115 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate climbed to approximately $103 per barrel, underscoring the upward pressure on fuel costs.
