Joseph Atule Vows Higher Bar After Stellar Barau FC NPFL Run

Sports

Barau FC winger Joseph Atule says he is determined to build on a standout 2025/26 campaign and push his game to a higher level in the months ahead.

The 24-year-old delivered eight goals after switching clubs mid-season from Enyimba, a move that proved pivotal as Barau FC navigated their first-ever campaign in the NPFL and ultimately avoided relegation.

Looking forward, Atule outlined specific areas he plans to focus on during the off-season, including sharpening his weaker foot, improving his set-piece delivery, and adding more to his side’s attacking output.

“I’m grateful for how last season went, but I’m not done yet. The goal is to be more consistent, score more goals and help Barau FC achieve bigger things next season,” he said.
