Elsewhere in Spain, Umar Sadiq sparked Valencia’s comeback from the bench as they delivered a dramatic 4-3 away victory over his former club, Real Sociedad. Sadiq entered in the 74th minute, with the result confirming Valencia’s safety from relegation.
Valencia head into their last match in ninth place and will face Barcelona to close the season.

Another Serie A tie saw Roma earn a 2-0 win over Lazio in the Italian capital. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru came on in the 62nd minute but couldn’t force a turnaround. Lazio are positioned ninth with 51 points from 37 matches.
Udinese meanwhile started Maduka Okoye in goal as they hosted Cremonese. Cremonese introduced David Okereke in the 60th minute and took the lead through Jamie Vardy’s strike in the ninth minute. The away triumph moves Cremonese to 17th on 34 points from 37 games, and another victory in their final fixture against Como on May 24 is expected to secure their survival.
In Belgium, Raphael Onyedika made an appearance from the bench as Club Brugge crushed Union Saint-Gilloise 5-0. The result extends Brugge’s advantage to four points at the top of the Belgian Championship playoffs, with two matches remaining, reinforcing their status as the favourites to keep the title.
