MultiChoice, a CANAL+ business, has unveiled special FIFA World Cup bundle promotions for customers on both DStv and GOtv, aiming to broaden access to the tournament for football fans across Nigeria.
World Cup bundles for new DStv and GOtv customers
The deals take effect from Monday, 1 June 2026. Under the promotion, new DStv subscribers can buy an HD decoder, a dish kit and a one-month DStv Yanga package for ₦15,000.
New GOtv customers can also take advantage of the same price point, with a GOtv decoder, an antenna and a one-month GOtv Jolli subscription included in the ₦15,000 bundle.
Why the promotion is arriving now
The launch comes as excitement builds for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The event is billed as the biggest FIFA World Cup in history, with 48 national teams, including 10 African countries, set to contest 104 matches over 39 days.
MultiChoice Nigeria’s chief executive officer, Kemi Omotosho, said the company’s focus is on making the World Cup experience easier to access for supporters around the country.

How SuperSport on DStv will cover the tournament
As Africa’s football heartland, SuperSport on DStv will provide extensive, around-the-clock coverage of the competition. Fans will be able to watch live broadcasts of all 104 World Cup matches, alongside four dedicated 24-hour World Cup channels.
There will also be a bonus pop-up channel featuring standout moments from World Cup history. For easier viewing, some SuperSport channel names will be adjusted during the tournament so customers can quickly locate and follow the action.
