Super Eagles defender Chibuike Nwaiwu has played down talk that he could be on the move to Fulham, stressing that his attention is still firmly on his current club, Trabzonspor.
The Nigerian international has drawn fresh interest after a strong start in Turkey, with his performances helping Trabzonspor push toward contention for major honours.
Addressing rumours about potential Premier League involvement, Nwaiwu said, “I have an ongoing contract with Trabzonspor, so I need to go back and continue my path with my club.”
He added, “Whatever happens from now on, happens,” reinforcing that, even as transfer talk continues to gather pace, his next step remains with the Turkish side.
