The Premier League has unveiled the nominees for its 2025/26 Manager of the Season and Player of the Season awards, spotlighting the coaches and performers judged to have made the biggest impact across the campaign.
Manager of the Season shortlist
Keith Andrews, Mikel Arteta, Michael Carrick, Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola and Regis Le Bris have been named among the candidates for the top managerial prize.
The selection reflects a closely fought season in which tactical structure and reliable performances were key, with managers navigating demanding schedules across the English top flight.
Arteta’s nomination follows another strong title push with Arsenal, while Guardiola is again in the running after a competitive spell in charge at Manchester City.
Carrick is also recognised for his influence from the touchline, alongside Iraola and Le Bris, whose work with their clubs attracted widespread praise throughout the season.
Player of the Season shortlist
The Premier League’s Player of the Season nominees bring together proven performers and rising names, with Bruno Fernandes, Gabriel Magalhães, Morgan Gibbs-White, Erling Haaland, David Raya, Declan Rice, Antoine Semenyo and Igor Thiago all earning places on the list.
Haaland returns after yet another fruitful campaign in front of goal, while Rice, Fernandes and Raya are acknowledged for the roles they played in driving their teams forward.
Gibbs-White and Semenyo also secure nominations after standout individual showings, and Gabriel’s defensive performances for Arsenal have earned him a spot among the league’s leading performers this season.
How the winners are decided
Final winners for both awards will be determined through a mix of public voting and selections made by a panel of football specialists.
