Edafe departs Warri Wolves
In other movement, goalkeeper Vincent Edafe has left Warri Wolves after the expiration of his contract. The change follows the end of his stint with the NPFL club, bringing his spell to a close as the next campaign gets underway.
Edafe joined Warri Wolves from Remo Stars at the start of the previous season and spent one year with the Seasiders. Confirming his departure, he noted that his agreement was only scheduled to run until the end of the season.
“My contract was only till the end of the season,” Edafe said while confirming his exit. He previously turned out for Dakkada FC and Abia Warriors before now becoming available as a free agent.
With his contract concluded, the goalkeeper is expected to draw attention from clubs seeking an experienced presence in goal ahead of the new campaign.
