Cristiano Ronaldo has lifted his opening Saudi Pro League championship trophy, guiding Al-Nassr to the title in a campaign that underlined his continued habit of winning major honours.
Ronaldo arrived at Al-Nassr in December 2022 and, since his move, has been chasing the kind of silverware that would complete another trophy-rich chapter. That pursuit has now paid off, with the Portuguese forward at the centre of a league triumph that extends his remarkable record of success.
Al-Nassr finished the job by overcoming their still-untaken rivals, Al-Hilal, and in doing so widened their advantage as the season played out. Across 34 matches, the team banked two additional points, ending with 28 wins and only four losses in the league.
The title was confirmed in the opening fixture of the campaign against Damac Club. Sadio Mané put Al-Nassr ahead in the first half, before Kingsley Coman added a goal after the break. Cristiano Ronaldo then struck twice in the second period to complete a decisive statement performance and secure the championship.
