Sevilla are reportedly ready to consider offers for Super Eagles striker Jerome Akor this summer as the Spanish club looks to relieve mounting financial pressure.
Reports in Spain suggest Sevilla, who narrowly escaped the drop last season, would be willing to listen to bids in excess of €20 million for the Nigerian forward. The possibility of a move has drawn interest from multiple teams, with Italian outfit Venezia and French giants Olympique Marseille both keeping tabs on his situation.
Even with transfer talk building around him, Akor insists his immediate attention is on Sevilla and preparing for the campaign ahead.
“I’m only thinking about resting and preparing for the new season with Sevilla. I’m not paying attention to transfer rumours,” the striker said.
With Sevilla’s financial challenges continuing to shape their summer plans, the club may feel compelled to sell one of its most valuable players if a realistic offer arrives.
